Camel Cravings

Today, I had the rare opportunity to spend the morning with a couple of camels. The first was a full-grown male named Drake I believe. But the one who stole my heart was a 3 week old baby (appropriately) named Valentine.
Valentine romped around confidently and awkwardly, nuzzled everyone she met. I had the lovely opportunity to feed the sweet baby. Her body felt like cotton and her eyes were full of love.
When I learned she was rescued in India, my heart did a jump.
I've been thinking about India... craving an exotic trip this year. Last year I traveled stateside but I've been itching - for some time - to travel somewhere new.
My heart wants to go to South Africa. I will go there soon! Should I plan on India in the meantime?

India has some really exotic locations, but to satisfy your camel cravings, the Middle East is more like it.

Dubai and Egypt are great touristic locations and they offer lots of camel & desert activities, in addition to the more modern activities already there.

If u need any help, drop me an email, I know a lot about those places, been there :)

I think camels are very appealing, and there is something romantic about riding one through the desert! Even though I never have!

We must have been on the same wave length, because I did a post on African safaris today. Wish we could have seen a photo of you feeding the baby camel.

India is definitely on my list of places of to go. Other than the Taj Mahal (it's on everyone's list) I'm dying to go to the Golden Temple. BTW that camel is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I can't imagine what it must have felt like to see her in person!
