Tiny Tamales

How adorable are these small tamales with their red and green husks?  I'd love to serve them for Christmas!

Where can I find some like these in the LA area?

Suz, they're Michoacan style tamales called Corundas. All it is is the corn masa, not that maseca instant stuff.

It's typically served with a stew called Churipo.

My pops is from the great state of Michoacan and this is a Christmas and/or new years dish.

Now, where you may be able to find it out here I have no answer unfortunately. Hope the bit of info helps, if you didn't have it already!
