It's finally up! Olafur Eliasson's magnificent waterfall installation in the middle of NYC's East River. There are four waterfalls below the Brooklyn Bridge, between Piers 4 and 5 in Brooklyn, on Governers Island, and on Pier 35 in Manhattan.
Nature & architecture are a running theme. His last show
The Weather Project at the Tate Modern was a feast for the senses.

we need to go somewhere where there's waterfalls!
it looks so refreshing, plus you'll be in your bikini, so it will be extra fun

Damn! I was on a project in lower Manhattan last year this time and I walked across the Brooklyn a few times a week. I wish I were there now. Arrrrrrggghh!!
Great post! Brings the wilderness to NYC. I wish I could be there, ummmm.
