Snow Valley

On Sunday, snow fell in The Santa Clarita Valley for the first time in two decades.

Stopped for coffee.  Check out the grin on this guy.

I was so cozy. And giddy.

I couldn't stop thinking of bundt cakes.  How a dusting of powder brings out the most beautiful detail.

I went to take a photo of the happy branches, but the slush stole the light.

I'm heading to the snow.  I'll be honest with you.  This California girl hates being cold.  But these fabulous Chanel creations are warming my heart.

A clutch that resembles a block of ice and crystals on my finger?  Yes please.

Forget a ski suit.  I want to prance around like a chic abominable snowman.

I imagine Karl Lagerfeld looking out his window gazing at icicles while envisioning these beautiful pieces.  Crystals and feathers dripping from ice queens' necks and updos.

My lovely snow bunny Christy enjoyed Mammoth this past weekend.

It was so warm & beautiful in LA today, yet isn't this photo refreshing?
