Aimee Wilder

I just discovered Aimee Wilder's "analog nights" wallpaper in chocolate and gray. This color combo is so perfectly seventies I'm digging it. As much as I'd like to say I prefer subtlety, I always get sucked in by bold patterns.
How about just a touch?

How about some Warhol-inspired flowers?

If you have kids, this is about the coolest wallpaper I've seen for a children's room. Mainly because of the little cloud faces. Cute!

I just realized I blogged about Aimee Wilder before here.

Squirrel Fever

I have a soft spot in my heart for squirrels right now.

We have a squirrel who lives in the big oak tree in our backyard. Whenever our cat Audrey goes outside for a stroll, the squirrel gets really worked up, chattering and scolding Audrey while jumping from branch to branch. Audrey is cross-eyed (she's part Siamese) so I doubt the squirrel has to worry.

I just found a sweet blog about a squirrel named Scooby Snacks, who was rescued as a little runt. Just check out this photo, then click it to read her story.

The pattern above is by graphic designer Aimee Wilder and the notecard by Delphine Letterpress.

I think I spied these on design*sponge a few months ago.
