Prayers For Japan

I went to bed last night in NYC and woke up to the devastating news in Japan. The 8.9 earthquake is one of the biggest in history and resulting tsunami.  Prayers for everyone around the world.

Sending a Tsunami of prayers to our good friends across the Pacific.

Hope it makes people not involved in such a horrendous diaster, some time to stop, & re-think what things are truly important in life & how happy we should be for our health, the health of our children, our homes still standing & family nearby, or at least safe. We take too much for granted when there is so much hurt going on in the world.

Just wanted to let you know of a fundraiser for Japan that was started by fellow bloggers in Los Angeles and has gained incredible momentum thanks to the generosity and support of the blogging community. What started as a modest goal of $5500 has raised over $47,000 and counting for earthquake and tsunami relief. It's so nice to see social media helping to spread love for a change!
