SJP in a Scrunchie

Say it ain't so? SJP is wearing a giant scrunchie! Remember the Sex and the City episode when she said a NYC gal would never wear one - in public - and when a gal was spotted sporting one in a swank bar, the poor gal quickly gave away her out-of-town roots with an exaggerated accent. I'm polite, okay?
I love it. If you're gonna work it, work it big. I love that hair. I'm a big fan of big hair.
I love her wild outfits too. Better to be over-the-top than boring.
Can't wait for the movie.

Campy Christmas Cards

I love holiday cards. I'm not sure which to pick, but of the cards you see here:

The first card is a gnome diorama from http://www.fredflare.com/. Kinda silly but also kinda expensive...

The next three are from rockscissorpaper and the last is by Frederick Beck. His designs are sold all over the web.

But if I have the energy, I may go in a completely different direction & take a photo. Not a traditional photo. My husband has sat on Santa's lap with me... we looked ridiculous, which I like. One year I sent a photo of us at a holiday party, and last year our cards were of a Shag print.

By the way, if you saw my earlier post - invitation obsession - I chose the last one from http://www.rockscissorpaper.com/. They were titled "Golden Globes." I wonder why I was drawn to those? :)

Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine

OMG. I was just talking about this with someone the other day.
The Snoopy Sno-Cone Machine. Does anyone remember this?
All the work you have to do to get one measly snow cone, the excitement when you finally get one done and get to scoop out the ice with the tiny shovel, the little snowman and Snoopy with their little red caps that squeeze out the red topping.
It was my favorite little toy, along with the Easy Bake Oven.
